At it's heart, skiing is a movement sport. Performance comes from a specific set of movements that maximize the skis’ design. We want to share the simplicity of those movements with you.
Skiing that is sustainable, honors the body's inherent design. We believe that high performance skiing is accessible to anyone at any age. Our teaching also recognizes that each of our bodies is unique. Progress comes from the practical expressions of what is possible for you rather than forced positions based on theoretical or stylistc ideals.
Learning on skis is movement mindfulness. In the end, it's not something you learn in a book. The teaching at SkierSynergy emphasizes movement awareness: a practical understanding through movement, sensation, and experience.
Skiing offers a unique joy. It opens the door to a sense of flow, rythm, power and agility that are not common in most other activities. Expanding your ability to control these is the aim. We offer a variety of different courses for you to explore new interests in your skiing.
